The National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) published on 26.10.2023/9/XNUMX Resolution No. XNUMX, which deals with the Privacy Notice made available to Personal Data Holders on its website.
Through the Privacy Notice, ANPD transparently informs how it handles the personal data of those who interact with it. Therefore, as determined by Article 9 of the General Data Protection Law, the Personal Data Holder will be aware of:
- What personal data is processed;
- What is the purpose of processing;
- How cookies are used and what data they collect;
- With whom the data is shared;
- The way in which personal data is stored, deleted and protected;
- How to exercise the rights of Personal Data Holders;
- What is the ANPD contact number?
In order to bring clarity to the document, the ANPD implemented in its Privacy Notice a table detailing the category of personal data, the purpose of processing, who are the affected Personal Data Holders and what is the legal hypothesis that authorizes the processing of those data. Also, in order to have an objective document, the explanation about the use of cookies on the ANPD website is unified in the same Privacy Notice.
Therefore, ANPD's concern with complying with the principle of Transparency is clear, and it is essential that all processing agents prepare, implement and make Privacy Notices available in their online environments. Count on Peck Advogados to support you on this journey of compliance and improvement with the LGPD.
